Filipino audiences can once again experience the beauty of world-class opera, ballet, and concert films as CineArt Season 2 opens at Opus and NUSTAR Premier Cinemas. In partnership with Trafalgar Releasing, Robinsons Movieworld brings acclaimed productions from London’s prestigious Royal Opera House to the big screen, offering a cultural experience unlike any other in the country.

I had the chance to watch the season opener Andrea Bocelli: Because I Believe at Opus VIP Cinema, and it was such a moving experience. From the moment I settled into the fully reclining leather seat -- with just the right softness, a built-in USB port, and the kind of privacy that makes you feel like you have the cinema all to yourself -- I knew this wasn’t going to be just another night at the movies. It felt both luxurious and comfortable, the perfect way to watch a world-class show.

Living with visual impairment since childhood, Bocelli’s life is a testament to resilience. Seeing clips of him biking, skiing, roller skating, and even straddling and riding a horse on his own was nothing short of inspiring. As one line from the film beautifully captured: “Because I believe, I can face life with courage and joy.”
What stood out most to me was how he bridged the gap between classical opera and mainstream music, making it accessible and loved by people who may never have stepped foot inside an opera house. His journey reminded me that despite daily struggles, anything is possible when you choose to keep going.
