Marikina is known for quality shoes, but little did I know that it is also a perfect spot for food trips. Good thing Zomato came up with Hunger Games -- a food crawl event in Marikina where Comedor by Miguel & Maria is one of the stops.
Comedor is a great place for family get-together with its homey Filipino classic ambiance. I love the welcoming glass doors and windows where you can clearly see inside especially at night. There is also a spacious open area which suits night out with friends.

For the price, you get a garlicky rice, a soup, and a delicious steak pares. Quite filling to be consumed by just one person. The pares has a sweet a-bit-viscous sauce, and really tender meat. It has brought the usual side-walk pares I've tried before to a completely new level.
