UNBOXING: Torque DQ51

I received this phone as a prize in a Torque-sponsored blog giveaway I've joined in. Let's start the unboxing to know more about this product.

Box contains the Torque DQ51 handset, a headset, Li-ion battery, charger set, and User Manual.

The headset and the charger has the same input port for microUSB connector and so you cannot use the headset and charge the battery at the same time. You also need to plug in the headset to use the FM radio. For charging, you can connect it on your laptop via the USB port, or directly to the AC source. Battery Life, for the first time I charged it, is around 1.5 days.

Below are the features and specifications.

*details from Torque website

For someone who is used to Nokia's user-friendly features, you might get a little disappointed. This phone has no Sent Items, Camera, Bluetooth, GPRS or MMS. You may opt to add 200Php and you already have a DQ70 (1699Php) that has those additional features.

Given its low cost, you cannot ask for more features as it focuses more on practicality. I must say the best thing about this phone is that it is Dual SIM-Dual Standby. I find this useful as I have a personal and a work phone which I can already combine in one phone, and no need to switch lines. I also find its sleek metal frame design aesthetically pleasing (doesn't look cheap at all).

Indeed, this can be your cheapest DUAL SIM QWERTY phone!
