October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Why do we need to drive awareness? It's because 1 in 13 Filipinas will develop breast cancer in her lifetime, yet a global survey in 2017 showed a lot of Filipinos are not knowledgeable enough about the symptoms and how to lower the risk of/prevent developing the breast cancer.
Avon Philippines and Color Manila teamed up to shine a bright light that will help bring women out of the dark. Pink Light Night Run and Walk for Breast Cancer 2019, happening on October 19, 2019 at Filinvest City Event Grounds, aims to raise awareness about the disease, and encourage women to do breast self exam as it is the key for early detection.

Be part of Avon's first night run and walk event! Get caked in bright pink powder while completing the course. Have fun, raise awareness, and have a lighter heart knowing that by just joining, you are also donating to Philippine Cancer Society and Avon-Philippine General Hospital Breast Care Center to fund free breast health guidance, consultation and checkups.
