REVIEW: Confetti Spa & Salon: P150 Relaxing & Rejuvenating Massage (P499 Value) from Ensogo!

This is the first voucher that I bought, and the first time that I knew about (and got addicted to) group buying sites. And since part of my 2011 goals is to have a full body massage, why not take advantage of this uberly cheap deal: 1 hour of Shiatsu Massage, Swedish Massage, Back Massage, OR Hand & Foot Reflexology for 150Php!

This is the second time that I had a full body massage. The first time was part of the tour package when we went to Bohol last 2009. I no longer remember how it was (or maybe I wasn't really that satisfied that it didn't give a lasting impression). Anyway, as for the Confetti Spa, I wasn't also expecting too much since
  1. a friend read some negative reviews about this
  2. we had a hard time contacting them for reservation since their landline was under repair (good thing my friend called the Ensogo hotline and they gave a mobile number to contact Confetti Spa) -- but they were quite flexible with the reservation
  3. outside, it looks like an average salon or "parlor"
And so my impression of underrating it continuous.

We were asked to wear "house" slippers, and were led to the massage area which perfectly fitted the four of us. It was quite a dim place, separate beds, with curtain dividers, and has a relaxing ambiance. We were then asked to change into the shorts provided, and remove top clothing and undergarment. The session started!

*The Massage*

We all took the Swedish massage (with oil). It started with back massage. I was really enjoying this. Just enough pressure to feel each stroke, pressing, rubbing, very soothing! The one assigned to me has warm hands, and she asks me once in a while if the pressure is just enough to make sure I am still comfortable. Next were the arms and hands. Hand massage was my favorite! This was followed by massage for legs and feet. I can say that she really knows what she's doing and not just some random strokes (talking about my previous post on foot massage). Lastly, were the chest, neck, face, and head massage. Completely relaxing, and indeed, rejuvenating!

After the session, we were given hot tea... and 4 mini envelopes each with name: April, Maan, Rachelle, Cathy. Not sure who's who. But for me, it's fine to give them tip since I was satisfied with the service. And it actually made me wanna go for more massage deals!
