Pepsi Extra Fizz definitely brought the extra to SM Mall of Asia! From taking photos at the different stations and getting my first taste of the new Pepsi Extra Fizz to trying the dance challenge and meeting Mimiyuuuh, there was a lot going on at the #GoExtra launch last July 25.

Held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall, the launch brought together media, KOLs, and guests for an afternoon filled with activities, food, music, and plenty of Pepsi Extra Fizz.

Going Extra with Pepsi Extra Fizz

Pepsi Philippines unveiled Pepsi Extra Fizz, its newest cola innovation with a more intense taste, bold flavor, and extra fizz. The launch is part of the brand's latest #GoExtra campaign, encouraging young Filipinos to turn ordinary meals into moments that are extra sarap and extra exciting.

I got to try Pepsi Extra Fizz for the first time during the event, and I liked how the extra fizz made it even more refreshing. It also pairs nicely with food, making it a great companion for everything from Filipino street food to a full meal.

Exploring the #GoExtra Experience

The SM Mall of Asia Music Hall was transformed into an immersive Pepsi Extra Fizz playground, with interactive zones for guests to explore before the launch program.
 

Several booths and activities for photo op!

There were lots of stations where we could take photos and try different activities. Completing all the booths also meant getting freebies, so I made sure to go around and check them out.

There was also pica-pica like kwek-kwek, lumpia, fishballs, and other snacks, which made the experience even more enjoyable -- especially with a cold Pepsi Extra Fizz in hand.

The program opened with the debut of the new Pepsi Extra Fizz campaign film, introducing the campaign's bold and energetic world.

Mimiyuuuh Joins the Celebration

One of the biggest highlights of the afternoon was the arrival of Mimiyuuuh.

She entertained the crowd with a lively on-stage interaction before teaching guests the official Pepsi Extra Fizz dance challenge. Selected creators and guests then joined an exciting dance-off on stage including Innah Bee, who is known for her dance content online.

So happy to finally meet Mimiyuuuh! She seemed so nice, fun, and down to earth despite her fame, which made the quick encounter even more memorable.

Watch Out for the Pepsi Extra Fizz Dance Challenge 

The fun doesn't stop with the launch. The Pepsi Extra Fizz Dance Challenge contest is happening from August 14 to September 11, 2026, giving participants a chance to show their moves and win Pepsi merch and products!

The celebration culminated with the “Cheers to Fizz” countdown, where guests raised their Pepsi Extra Fizz bottles in a synchronized toast as music, lights, and vibrant visuals filled the venue.

The event was attended by media and KOLs but was also open to the public from 4 PM on July 25 until July 26 during mall hours.

For me, it was a great way to experience Pepsi Extra Fizz for the first time -- with plenty of photo opportunities, activities, food, freebies, dancing, and the chance to meet Mimiyuuuh.

With its extra fizz and refreshing taste, Pepsi Extra Fizz is definitely made for those moments when you want to make an everyday meal a little more exciting.
