Shots taken using LG G7 ThinQ in a dim-lit venue

You won't fail to notice its sleek design and vibrant display. It's FullVision Display lets you maximize the screen, though you also have the option to turn it off and go for the more familiar standard smooth edge screen.

As it was cozy and dark at the venue, its display automatically adjusts so as not to appear too bright or harsh to the eyes. This is common with other smartphones. The challenge is with direct sunlight. I've experienced this several times when you can't use your phone outdoor as the sun is too bright and you can't see anything on your screen. LG G7 ThinQ's Super Bright Display makes use of additional white pixels to ensure full visibility and clarity.

But what I look for the most in a smartphone is the quality of the camera. So there's the Super Wide Angle Camera great for scenic views, the Portrait Mode for that blurry background effect, HDR, camera stickers, film effects, Live Photo, and more. But two of the camera features I like the most are: [1] the AI Camera that automatically identifies what's in the shot and suggests the best filter and angle; and [2] the Super Bright Camera. Admit it, most of the smartphones fail to deliver great photos in low light. But with this feature, it automatically brightens the image even in very low light such as the cylinder shown below. No need for flash that could possibly cause uneven or harsh lighting.

Other features worth mentioning are its Boombox Speaker and DTS : X 3D Surround Sound for that cinematic and room-filling listening experience -- 10x the loudness of typical smartphone; the AI Assist through its Google Lens (search online with just a point and click), Super Far Field Voice Recognition for your Google Assistant, and the Google Assistant Key. And yes, LG G7 ThinQ is also water-resistant up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes.

Technology is just getting better and better. LG G7 ThinQ is up in the game of providing new AI-powered services. Retails at Php 42,990.
