This August, Shangri-La Plaza is taking everyone on a flavor trip around the region with this year’s anticipated run of The Marketplace Asian Fair! Expect a celebration of food, cultures, and colors that every foodie shouldn’t miss from August 14 to 17 at the Grand Atrium.

The Marketplace is putting up its regularly awaited fest featuring well-loved Asian brands and new products with awesome deals and exclusive discounts. Shoppers will also be enjoying a line-up of engaging activities from a live Taiko drum and Filipino cultural performance to fun and informative demos such as Matcha Ceremony, Sushi Rolling, assortment of noodles and Asian flavors, and much more!

To enhance the experience even more and bring Asia’s dynamism and scenic destinations to life, visitors get a chance to Snap & Shop while at the fair with life-size 3D art displays featuring photo spots across Asia. Pose by Gardens by the Bay, Singapore, a tram at Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, or by an awesome photo spot cum fruit stand inspired by the iconic fruit bicycle vendors of Vietnam and the local TukTuk vendors of Thailand.

This first-ever solo event for Sorsogon coconut producers on a national scope is made possible by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Sorsogon in partnership with the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan. The trade fair serves as a vital platform designed to empower Sorsogon's farmers and producers to help them expand their market reach, promote trade, and ultimately contribute to the inclusive economic growth of the province's coconut industry.
