From Fringe to Whiskey: Stepping Back into the 1920s at BRB at Solaire!

Stepping into BRB at Solaire Resort felt like slipping through time -- straight into the roaring 1920s.

For the reopening night themed “A Night of Prohibition”, I dressed to the nines in full flapper-inspired glam -- feathers, fringe, and all. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the sultry notes of live jazz, the soft clinking of cocktail glasses, and the infectious energy of guests swaying to the beat. It was a full-on time machine to an era of elegance, rebellion, and whispered secrets.

The night was made even more indulgent with unlimited Prohibition-inspired cocktails -- each one a work of art in a glass such as Dear Mr. Volstead, Dr. Welch, Ship from Bimini, Roaring Revival, Hard Stuff (to name some). The bar snacks were just as impressive -- deviled scotch eggs, smoked prawn cocktail, nomad caviar, and other tiny bites that kept my glass company all night long.

I loved how BRB fully embraced the speakeasy vibe -- dim, moody lighting, the hum of conversation, and just a hint of mischief in the air. Whether you’re into rare whiskies (they have over 350!) or curious cocktails, this is the place to linger.

And it’s not just for one special night -- BRB has live jazz, DJs, bar takeovers, and themed evenings every week. Thursdays are for the ladies, with free-flowing cocktails from 5PM to 10PM (perfect excuse to dress up with the girls!). Exclusive for Solaire Rewards members only, so sign up now!

They also have a “social hour” from 4PM to 8PM daily, which includes bottomless drinks and a fun little twist -- check the newspaper menus for a crossword puzzle. Finish it and the bartender will reward you with a special drink.
