Stelton Dermascience, BGC

Just five months after the very first branch of Stelton Dermascience opened in Ayala North Exchange, Makati City (see blog post here: http://www.patchesoflifebyjessa.com/2019/07/stelton-dermascience.html), its second branch was made available to the beauty-and-wellness-conscious public last November 23, 2019. Hooray for me who lives and works in Taguig as this new branch is located at the 3F One Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City.

This branch offers the same facial services and treatments as in the Makati branch. So whether you're going for a relaxing Dermascience Facial, a thorough Pimple Free Facial, injectables with minimum downtime such as Dermal Fillers, Botox and Keloid Injections, body contouring, skin lightening, Laser Hair Removal, or even hair regrow via HairGrowPRP, you can still enjoy them all in this new branch in BGC.

One treatment that I noticed that is exclusive in the BGC branch is the Cocoon. We were told that it is like a dry sauna that uses mid-light and infrared light to help speed up the metabolism and sweat off the body toxins and calories. It also has an aromatherapy system using Himalayan salt crystals and jade stones for that relaxing experience while staying in the Cocoon. I still have to try this one!

Cavitation

On my first-time visit here in Stelton Dermascience BGC, I decided to go for Hydrajet Facial. This facial relies mainly on one equipment with several probes and functions, and the skill of the aesthetician. Each probe has a different purpose -- cleansing, hydrating, contouring, exfoliating, tightening, revitalizing, and more -- all in one treatment!

*The Treatment*
  1. Initial Cleansing - I was assisted to the wash area so I can remove my makeup using Micellar water, and wash my face using their in-house facial wash
  2. Jetfacial - After washing my face, time to go to their facial room which can accommodate at most two clients per room. With Jetfacial, it felt like water was being sprayed to my face thinly yet with high pressure. It is not painful but I can feel the light needle-like pokes on my face. The purpose is to exfoliate while infusing serum to the skin. The aesthetician lightly massaged the excess serum so it can be absorbed by the face
  3. Cavitation - Cream was spread thinly on one side of my face - cheek, chin, and jawline. The probe with three mini rounded knobs was massaged on my face for lifting, tightening, and contouring. The aesthetician took time per side to ensure effectiveness
  4. Facial Massage - This step requires no equipment but purely the skill of the aesthetician. Aside from being so relaxing, this is beneficial to the skin as it improves blood circulation and stimulates collagen production
  5. Ultrasound - Back to using the machine, this time, it's a flat-surfaced probe called the Ultrasound. I think this is also what they call Radio Frequency (RF) or Ultrasonic. Didn't feel any heat probably because of the gel applied on my face. This step is for cell renewal and promotion of skin elasticity and firmness
  6. Hydra Dermabrasion - This is one of the essential steps in Hydrajet Facial. Hydra Dermabrasion uses a probe with suction that exfoliates the skin, removes dead skin and black heads, leaving it soft and smooth. It also infuses serum on the skin while gently doing the resurfacing
  7. LED - Vitamin C was applied on my face. After that, with eyes completely covered, an LED equipment was used to expose my face to the light. There are different color of lights depending on the condition of the skin. For my case, Green light was used which is for sun spots, dark eye circles, hyperpigmentation, and wrinkles
  8. Sun Protection - Now for the final touch! They usually put Aloe Vera Gel but since I'd be staying outdoors, the aesthetician opted to put sunblock

Fitness Drip (1,500Php)

Fitness Drip

A drip is a method to intake a vitamin or a "cocktail" of vitamins through IV (intravenous) injection. A Fitness Drip is a combination of Vitamin C and B Complex that instantly boosts the immune system and energy level, promotes healthy brain and nerve function, and maintains healthy skin -- just to name a few.

Before doing the procedure, the aesthetician will ask you to read and sign a form to ensure that you are aware of the possible effects or side effects. It takes 15-30 minutes to complete the drip. It is not painful but at some points it felt a bit heavy while the vitamins are flowing through my veins.
Thank you, Stelton Dermascience!

Completely satisfied with the treatments I had at Stelton Dermascience's newest branch in One Bonifacio High Street! The effects can be felt right away and even lasts for several days. The Hydrajet Facial gave me an instant glow, zero redness, through a totally painless, absolutely relaxing procedure. Even without the manual painful pricking, my white heads and black heads were removed, and my skin became soft, smooth, and supple even as of writing (almost a week after treatment). I'm also glad I had the Fitness Drip as the day after the treatment, my son was admitted in the hospital for 4 days, and that boost of vitamins really helped me to get through those days.
