Crazy Lemons Ayala Malls Cloverleaf

Fresh lemonade brands and stalls have been popping everywhere! I am not really a fan but knowing the various health benefits of lemon in digestion, weight loss, skin improvement, and a lot more, I gave it a try.

I visited the newest branch of Crazy Lemons at the 3rd Level of Ayala Malls Cloverleaf, in front of Daiso and near True Value. This branch opened last April 25, 2018. Note, though, that this is just a stall/kiosk, no seats, and for take out only.

1 size, 6 flavors

There are 6 flavors to choose from, 1 drink size, price ranging from Php59 to Php75 depending on the flavor. But one thing is guaranteed, all drinks are refreshingly healthy!! The ingredients are fresh, witness with your eyes as they prepare the drinks and you'll see that they use full lemon for each cup. You know you're getting the vitamins and nutrients for each flavored drink as they make use of a juicer.

Classic (59Php)

Classic Lemonade

Let's start with something plain and simple -- the Classic Lemonade. I know some people who prefer their lemonade "untainted". This one isn't screamingly sour. In fact, it has a nice balance of sourness and sweetness, smooth on the palate. And for just Php59, you get a huge zesty cup!

Cucumber (69Php)

Cucumber Lemonade

Cucumber Lemonade is becoming famous, especially this summer. Cucumber alone is invigorating and hydrating as it is mainly composed of water. Unless it is a powdered juice drink, you'll often find cucumber blended in drinks. But here at Crazy Lemons, the essence and vitamins of the cucumber are extracted through a juicer. The combination of cucumber and lemon is simply good and familiar thus a safe choice for all ages.

Yakult (75Php)

Yakult Lemonade

Kids, and even adults, love Yakult! Aside from its well-loved taste, this probiotic drink prevents digestive issues, and helps in boosting the immune system. When combined with lemon, the benefits are increased. For this Yakult Lemonade, the lemon taste is more noticeable, while the Yakult essence tries not to overpower but the familiar hints and aftertaste are still there.

Charcoal (75Php)

Charcoal Lemonade

Charcoal Lemonade is the most intriguing among the line up. And how can it not? A black lemonade? A small amount of activated charcoal makes this lemonade black. But that small amount has a lot of benefits including toxin removal, anti-aging, digestive cleansing, and more. Not sure if this is positive or negative, but it doesn't affect the taste of the lemonade. So a normal Charcoal Lemonade tastes the same as the Classic Lemonade, except there former has more health benefits.

Apple Beet (75Php)

Apple Beet Lemonade

I was a bit hesitant to try the Apple Beet Lemonade as I tried a beet drink before and it was a bit off.. or should I say, needs some getting used to. Beet is a natural antioxidant and even a cancer-preventing root crop. The taste and scent are very earthy but when combined with the sweetness of apple and zest of lemon, it actually tastes amazing. Not the usual flavors you'll find in a juice but you can feel you're sipping something nutritious! It instantly became one of my favorites among the flavors.

Spinach Apple (75Php)

Spinach Apple Lemonade

Having trouble feeding your kids with greens? Spinach Apple Lemonade can be your option. Spinach alone isn't so favorable with kids or even non-veggie lovers like me due to its distinct bitter taste. But this leafy vegetable is a source of several vitamins and minerals which help in improving eyesight, maintaining blood pressure, boosting the metabolism, and more. Combining it with apple and lemon somehow concealed the bitter taste though you can still smell the spinach scent. I enjoyed drinking this because finally, I'm drinking spinach and it feels and tastes healthy!

Six flavors, various health benefits, affordable, and very refreshing! My favorites were Apple Beet and Spinach Apple as I go for the non-conventional yummy ones, plus these are the most nutritious! So the next time you go to Ayala Malls Cloverleaf, don't forget to get your dose of Crazy Lemons!
