I was one of those who loves food, but not so much into cooking. But admittedly, staying at/working from home for almost two years now and not being comfortable of dining out or having food deliveries for health precautionary measures, forced made me explore the kitchen world. I got the opportunity to recreate those dishes that I've been craving for. Of course it is a mix of success and failure, but I enjoy the process as I learn.

Since I ain't an expert in the kitchen, I rely mostly on recipes I found on the internet. Especially for baking which requires exact measurements, it's a struggle to convert units. This Ingredient Conversion has various calculators allowing you to convert units for dry and wet ingredients. There are also charts for measurement, temperature, and weight which are all very useful in cooking or baking.

We all love eating, but one thing we should take note of -- balance. Over eating may lead to weight gain that is beyond normal. Like in my case, my routine that involves physical activities and going to the gym drastically changed in the past two years and this has caused me to gain 10kgs. Being able to check through this Weight Loss Calculator helped me to be aware about my BMI and weight class (which is now Overweight), and how long it will take to reach my weight goal depending on the amount of activities I plan per week.
