The Podium, Level 5.

classy in shades of pink, blue, purple, gray. Seats aren't just
chic and
stylish, but are also
comfortable too. Chandeliers, fixtures, decorations, and even details on the silverware all make the dining experience truly a
grand one!

And yes, speaking of "grand", there's literally a
grand piano at the center, yet the place remain
spacious. It doesn't matter if you're dining solo or in a group, the ambiance alone can provide you an
upscale feel the moment you step in.

The
food, of course, a more important factor, are
well-selected despite the wide array of
Japanese,
Chinese,
French,
Italian, and
Mediterranean cuisines.

You may scroll down through the photos below but what stood out for me that I don't normally see in buffets are the
cheese and tapas section, the
unlimited wines,
cocktails, and
sake, and the
premium meat selections. At the carving station alone, which consists of lamb, turkey, Angus beef, to name a few, you can already get your money's worth (~Php1,500).

My Plates
I usually start with sushi and sashimi when I go to buffets. I know, they're heavy "starters" but I so love Japanese food and authentic ones aren't that cheap. I'm quite
satisfied with the sushi selections and they're
good. I've seen a lot more selections in other buffets, but it's because that's what they specialize in.
NIU by Vikings has quite a number of dumplings too. The
Penguin Chocolate Bun and the
Chicken Custard Bun are really cute I almost don't want to eat them!
I had some tapas and cheeses in between just to alter my taste buds. A variety of
seafood are also available but I just stick to
baked oysters.
Binusog na Lechon is
savory and the skin is really
crunchy! And if you're a meat lover, you can go gaga over their
steaks and
ribs.
Several selections for dessert: cakes, ice creams, fruits, doughnuts, brownies, even Filipino desserts such as
halo-halo and
kakanin. But my favorites are
bibingka and
putobumbong. After all, it's nearly Christmas!

perfect place to reward yourself. The
grand atmosphere paired with
lavish and
hand-picked dishes are sure way to provide that
sophisticated dining experience.
