This is a long overdue post but I would still want to share with you my Filed 2013 Doodle Planner. After having Witty Will Save the World's "Relax, Puso Lang Yan, Malayo sa Bituka" for 2011, and Planet Slate's Slate 2012 Planner, this year is about trying another planner -- Filed's 2013 Doodle Planner at 545Php.

Upon seeing the pictures on their Facebook Page (link here), I know there's no other gift that I would want Allen to give me on Christmas. The cover alone tickled my imagination on how to bring it to life. Full features are listed here:

Filed 2013 Doodle Planner - paper clay art

I opted to use the excess paper clay from a paper clay art that my niece and I have done before. Paper clay art is fun to do but since the outlines in the cover are quite small and many, this made it challenging to do. This is the reason why at some areas I used poster paint, while at some, I used paper clay. The combination of paper clay-colored portions and painted areas gave variations in texture but still provides a bright and vibrant feel. I loved how it looked and I'm enjoying this planner day by day!
