Planer Slate: 2012 Slate Planner

They say people with planners are well-organized. Well for my case, it's because I'm an I-always-tend-to-forget-things type.

Since my school days, I always feel the need to list down things that I need to do, else, they'll be forgotten. I'm also the type who likes to note some memorable stuff, particularly the good ones. Add to that, I really like jotting down anything; may it be future plans, expenses, some quotes that I just heard of, or maybe thoughts of the day. Well, I started with just writing on a memo pad or a tickler, a notebook, then a cheap mini planner (since I was still a student). But now that I am earning, I want a PLANNER.

I used to have our company's planner that I got for free. It wasn't bad after all. Then last year (2011), I got the "The 'Relax, Puso Lang Yan, Malayo sa Bituka' Planner 2011" from Witty Will Save The World. I just saw this in Facebook and bought it online for 350Php. This is the planner where I got the idea that planners can be fun! I really enjoyed this planner as it has it's own character; far from the usual date, month, notes, calendar type of planner. But mind you, this is for the "jologs" like me!

This year, 2012, I am again in search for a good and fun planner. I also wanted it to suit my personality, and something that I would really like since I'll be using it everyday for a whole year! My options were drilled down to the "Doodle Planner" from Filed and the "Slate 2012 Planner" from Planet Slate before I headed to Fully Booked to see the actual planners. They are equally good planners, almost the same price (~550Php), and have their own plus factors. Several times I tend to pick one over the other, then vice versa, then I keep browsing the pages and comparing. In the end, I decided to have the "Slate 2012 Planner".

Time to extract creative juices

Just one of the weekly quotes

So far, so good! It looks neat yet creative at the same time. The weekly quotes are inspiring while the monthly features are interesting. At the latter part are the Notes, Expenses, some NCR Emergency numbers, and a Conversion table!
